Released in April 2021, the Air Jordan 4 University Blue pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s roots at the University of North Carolina. Inspired by the exclusive UNC PE pairs issued to Tar Heels athletes, this general release brings the signature Carolina colorway to a wider audience.

The sneaker features a premium University Blue suede upper, complemented by mesh panels on the tongue and side. Cement Grey accents with black speckling appear on the eyelets, heel tab, and parts of the midsole—echoing classic OG Jordan 4 styling. Black hits on the wings and Jumpman logo add contrast, while the dual woven tongue tags—including a Team Jordan jock tag—provide unique branding details.
